Join me for a ponier à cou basket making course at my home in Over Wallop, near the Hampshire-Wiltshire border.
The course will run over 3 days from 7th to 9th March 2025.
Friday 7 March, from 2-4.30pm, and
Saturday 8 March, from 10am-4.30pm, and
Sunday 9 March, from 10am-4.30pm.
All materials and tools will be provided.
Delicious refreshments including teas and coffee and a light lunch will be complimentary. Feel free to bring your own if preferred.
This will be a small group of just 3 people, allowing for plenty of attention for each participant.
We will be working mostly indoors in my workshop, with a short outdoor session, under shelter if raining!
Making a ponier à cou involves working with wood, wire and willow and a selection of hand held tools, and strong hands. That said, it is suitable for beginners or those with willow experience. You will go away with a wonderful hand made basket.
The cost is £230 per person.
