Labour and Wait are celebrating the Guernsey sweater this November and have invited my Guernsey baskets to join the festivities.
In honour of the Guernsey sweater, Labour and Wait are hosting a pop-up shop by their ‘guernseys’ manufacturer, Le Tricoteur. From Wednesday 30th October, Labour and Wait will be offering a widely extended range of guernseys in new colours and stripes in their Shoreditch shop. Rachael Laine, the owner of Le Tricoteur, will also be in store to share the story and history of the Guernsey jumper that evening.

Rooted in East London's market district, Labour and Wait is a unique store selling ‘built to last’, functional, everyday goods from hardware to clothing. Labour and Wait seek out specialist makers who use traditional processes to craft timeless products, and Le Tricoteur’s Guernsey sweater has been a core staple of their range since their beginning. Le Tricoteur’s guernseys are made using centuries-old traditional manufacturing techniques and individually hand finished.
