Basketry: Rescuing, Reviving, Retaining - opens at The Harley Gallery 12 April - 29 June 2025
The Basketmakers’ Association Traditional Basketry Project and Heritage Crafts present an exhibition of Traditional Baskets of the British Isles - Basketry: Rescuing, Reviving, Retaining. This exhibition is supported by the The Worshipful Company of Basketmakers.
The touring exhibition started at the Tear Up Festival (an event organised by Eddie Glew of Blithfield Willowcrafts) in Staffordshire, August 21st to 25th, and then traveled onto Ruthin Craft Centre (28 September 2024 - 12 January 2025) and now opens at The Harley Gallery(12 April - 29 June 2025).
The exhibition has been curated by Gregory Parsons alongside the Traditional Basketry Project and Heritage Crafts.
